Basics of Essay Writing: Types of Essays

The essay as a medium does various things:

  • Tests the students grasp upon a topic
  • Encourages the students to think critically and hone their analytical skills
  • Help the students be adept at researching and train them to be future contributors to their fields. 
  • Instills in the writers time management skills
  • Help improve the students’ creative thinking and writing skills
  • Teaches students the art of academic writing and to eloquently express their ideas, opinions, and stories            

It’s the reason why students are trained in essay writing from very early on. Unfortunately despite that, many essay writer end up consulting a free essay writer to help them write their essays. Many essays also prompt the writer to reach a synthesis between the various competing arguments. You have to make sure that you support your arguments and ideas with well-researched evidence and information.

Expository essays

Expository essays include some of the most common essays such as compare and contrast essays and cause-effect essays. Expository essays test your analytical and skills and are mostly concerned about your ability to find and analyze relationships between various subjects. For example, the cause-effect essay will explore the causal relationship between the subjects or events by online essay writer, while comparing and contrast essays compare subjects and see the various things the subject has in common or in contrast.
