Description:

About the JDMS
The peer-reviewed Journal of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JDMS) was first published in January 1985 by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS). Six issues are published each year, which feature the latest research across all sonography specialties. The JDMS provides a place for sonographer researchers, educators, and clinicians to share their knowledge, expertise, scanning tips, interesting cases and images and by doing so contributes to the growth of the sonography profession and to their own career. An attempt is made to publish articles that cover a variety of topics so that all sonographers, regardless of specialty and work environment, will find material of interest in each issue.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
The SDMS and JDMS are committed to promoting and implementing ongoing improvements to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the diagnostic medical sonography profession. Click Here to read the full SDMS Board Policy.
